Okay, so i’ve busy a little busy this past week and well, the blog paid the price. Nothing was added. So, i feel a brief summary of the week is due the my audience. So where should i begin…..How about the nutrition.
I’m not going to lie, I’ve already cheated and i guarantee is wouldn’t be the last. It’s actually happening right now. I have a sweet tooth and this bowl of ice, smothered in chocolate and peanut butter, is to die for. I know, shame on me. As for the rest of the week, I’ve been pretty good with paleo, with the exception of the cheese on my chipotle bowls and salads. The first few days were a little rough. I probably went through about 30 K-cups of coffee. Once i made it to my training session, i was golden and ready to “DO WORK”! Around thursday, my coffee intake had went down and i still had plenty of energy to get through my fast. Today, i only had one cup, and i’m still going strong. The only side effect that i’ve notice this week from IF is i have tons of energy late at night. The reason for that is my eating block is late into the evening. As my meals digest, the energy switch turns on, and well, i lose some sleep over it. My body still needs time to adjust. I’ll be fine in another week, this thing happened the last time i tried IF. All in all, i’m already starting to see physical changes in my physique. When i get the chance to weigh myself i’ll post it. My starting weight was 182, just keep that in mind.
As far as my training goes, its been pretty consistent at 5 days a week, Tuesday through Thrusday, then Saturday and Sunday. I don’t have any crazy PRs to post up, although i did improve on my Unbroken 3.0. That workout is just straight nuts. I hit my first set of 100 DUs unbroken, but 50 kettle bell swings at 70lbs is just a little much for me right now. I manage to get 30 unbroken and then just chop the rest up. Everything else went unbroken except the last 100 DUs. I hit 75 unbroken and was just smoked at that point. If i waited another 5-7 minutes to rest, that last 100 might have been possible. Today i actually made up my own WOD and it ended up being a marathon. It went a little something like this, For time, 10 rounds, 5 Clean and Jerk @135#, 10 burpees, 30 DUs. It was f***ing brutal. It took a little over 25 minutes, i think. Lebby and Tiff did it with me and they are not a fan of me right now. In the end, it was worth it.
